Camp for a Cure - November 6th

Written by Blaine Clemmens on .

I have worked this camp in the past and it is a great thing for young ballplayers to attend.  A couple years ago they even had Brandon Morrow and Jonny Gomes out there working it, along with other former pro ballplayers, some current MLB scouts, past scouts, current JC coaches, 4-year coaches, other great baseball people.  Really, the cause is GREAT and the camp is GREAT.

Camp For A Cure is pleased to announce that camp will be held on Saturday, November 6th , 2010, at Casa Grande High School in Petaluma, for ballplayers ages 8-15!

Since 2004, Camp For A Cure has raised over $40,000 which has been donated to the American Cancer Society, the Lupus Foundation of America, and the American Diabetes Association.

Last years volunteer coaches included over 60 of the top high school and college coaches, as well as professional scouts and players.  This years staff will include John Goelz (Sonoma State Head Coach), Damon Neidlinger (Santa Rosa JC head coach), and Tommy Everidge (A's).

For any grouping requests, completed registrations must be submitted together in one envelope, to our mailing address, no later than Oct. 30th.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  In past years we've had many players/parents move themselves without permission which caused a great unbalance and disruption to many groups.  Thank you for your cooperation!
